On Sunday I took the fam on their first visit to the Chinle Trail in the back country of Zion National Park. We had so much fun. And the kids only had a few "Are we there yet?" moments.
The views here are truly incredible. The rolling clouds kept throwing different shades of light on the mountain. Definitely a photographer's heaven.
Most of the trail is not very technical and the hills weren't too insane which helped contribute to keeping the kids happy. I'm so thankful we were able to capture these great memories.
While we were on the trail, everyone got in a little bit of running action:
Even our four-legged family member Jack wanted to get in on the action:
Our return trip back to the car was no less beautiful.
My amazing, loving, beautiful wife Mel:
I am so blessed to have such a great family and live in such an awesome place. The fun we had on the trail will be hard to beat.
I LOVE family time on the trails together. Awesome! All your kiddos have great running form! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like tons of fun!!! Awesome pics. i am trying not to hate you that you are all wearing shorts and we are still getting snow. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere's the cold nastyness? Shorts!?! That's it! I'm moving to Southern Utah! :)
ReplyDeleteJack looked like he was having the most fun. Dogs really know how to squeeze every last ounce of fun out of a walk.
ReplyDeleteGood fun with the FAM! You need a jumping pic with the kids!!
ReplyDeleteIf I promise to never ask "are we there yet?" will you please adopt me?
ReplyDeleteYour wife has such a gorgeous smile!
That is really awesome! We don't do this enough and every time we do the fun is amazing. Beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteYour family freaking rocks! What a fun day and I am jealous of all of the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteLove that last picture of you and Mel. She is absolutely beautiful..how did you get so lucky? ;)
Oh what fun!
ReplyDeleteDaddy and I need to head south and try this out.
He would say this is in his backyard.
How funny I took a group of people there on Saturday. Maybe some day we will actually meet on a trail.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Way to spend some quality time on the family! By far, the best picture was the one where jack is fully off the ground with his ears in the air! :)
